La Haine

La Haine is a film about these three young lads called Said, Hubert and Vinz who's friend was injured during a riot and is critically injured in hospital. One of them wants to get revenge and says if his friend dies then he will shoot a police officer because of the way they treated his friend Abdel. And once Abdel dies vinz who found a cops gun that was lost during the riot starts to fantasises himself killing a cop to get in his eyes justice for his friend. The film was directed by Mathieu Kassovitz and some of the production companies where Egg Pictures, Canal+ and many more



In La Haine the cops are represented as the bad guys that dosen't like the young people that live in France. They are also represented as acting like bullies and that they pick on the younger generation. However not all of the cops are represented as bad people for example one of the cops tries to help the main characters and tries to keep them out of trouble so they don't wind up like there friend in the hospital or so that they don't get sent to jail.

La Haine is an intense film with a shock ending that people wouldn't see coming or that they wouldn't expect to happen. Some other films that focus on representation are Kidulthood, Adulthood and
Girlhood.

Girlhood

Girlhood is a film about four girls who go into central Paris to have a good time and enjoy themselves. It is mostly centred around one character who as the film goes on changes her personality. Who has an abusive brother. She then goes and works for a drug dealer and before the hat she joins a gang who steals and disrespects people people.

The film mainly focuses on race and gender and how girls are represented in Paris and how they treated. Also the girls in the film are represented as being being very bad people and also very violent as well. And how family members see girls for example the brother disrespect's and abuses her until she beats up a girl them he starts to respect her.

Girlhood is an interesting film which has an ending which people will have different views on the ending for example some people will think about what will Vic do next and why she wouldn't go into her home. Also people will think about where her life is heading.

Avenger’s age of Ultron

Equilibrium

At the start of The Avengers Age of Ultron the Avengers, which consist of Tony Stark (Iron Man) who is a inventor and billionaire. Thor who is the prince of Asgard Bruce Banner (The Hulk) who is a scientist  Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow) who is a trained assassin and a shield agent and Clinton Brannon (Hawkeye) an agent of shield are a team that was created by Nick Furry the man who created shield to protect the world. The Avengers go on another mission this time to Russia Russia on a  to get Loki’scepter back and once they back to their headquarters with the scepter they have a party with all their friends.

Disequilibrium

Tony and Banner create this artificial intelligence called Ultron who as turned sentient attacks Jarvis and then gets into the computer system of the Avengers and uses the Iron Legion to attack the Avengers during the party.

Recognition

The Avengers then go after Ultron and try to stop him from evolving and getting the strongest metal on earth for his new body. They eventually get the metal but in the process Ultron kidnaps Natasha (Black Widow) whilst the Avengers are grieving from their defeat. And gets help from the two twins Scarlet Witch (Wanda Maximoff) and Quicksilver (Pietro Maximoff).  And he plans to destroy the world.

Attempt to repair

Tony and Banner then realise that Jarvis is still alive so they then put Jarvis into the body that Ultron wanted to use with the help of Thor who powers up the machine that lets them actually do it they also use an infinity stone which gets melded onto Jarvis head and who then becomes known as the vision

(Re) equilibrium

The Avengers with the help of the twins and their friends go and try to stop Ultron who has lifted an entire city into the air with the help of Nick Furry they get everyone to safety and then battle comenses. Ultron powers his machine which would send the city there are in crashing down to Earth which would make the human race become extinct but Thor and Tony stop it and then Vision kills the last reaming body of Ultron and then they save the Earth and all go back to their normal lives and they get a new base. However Quicksilver (Pietro Maximoff) died to save Hawkeye.

Film analysis of Guardians of the Galaxy

I think that Guardians of the Galaxy is a success of its genre because it has the right generic conventions for an action adventure sci-fi some examples are that it has a star studded cast with some of the actors that are related to action films and it also has explosions in it. Guardians of the Galaxy also have guns and swords and knife, which is what you would expect to see in an action film.  A guardian of the Galaxy also has a few plot twists in it. The film also has a few comedy elements to it by throwing in a few jokes in it and also it has some scenes in it, which might make you laugh. For example the scene when the starts to sing and kicks the creatures and uses them as a microphone.

Another convention that shows that this is an action adventure sci-fi film is that it has spaceships in it and it also has planets in outer space, which they travel to so that they can get information about the orb and its contents. Some other conventions that make a sci-fi film could be that it has characters that are from other planets and different colours for example Gamora who is green. Another thing that could make it a sci-fi is the fact that it has a talking racoon that is a bounty hunter.  

The things that make this film an adventure film as well is that they go from planet to planet to try and find a buyer for the orb before it falls into the wrong hands.

The storyline to Guardians of the Galaxy is about this guy called Peter Quill who is trying to make money by collecting something called the orb, which contains an infinity stone. But then someone called Ronan gets it and now Peter, Rocket ,Groot, Gamora, and Drax the destroyer have to stop Ronan and try and save the world.

This film has a lot of hybrid genres in it for example this film is an action, comedy, and adventure and sci-fi all in one which is unusual for a film. Also with this many genres the film will have a bit of everything for the viewers for example the viewers might like the action and some might like the comedy also some might like all of the genres that have been combined together.
